Premium Earplugs

The Audio S is our revolutionary custom communication system for the safe use of radios in noisy environments. Combining 31dB (SNR) of hearing protection with built in balanced armature speakers,  our Audio S delivers high quality, low volume audio directly into the ear(s) of your workers.

This product is supplied with a 2-part cable. The first part (connected to the earplugs) has a 3.5mm jack which then plugs into an extension radio lead with a PTT (push to talk) microphone. We can supply radio leads for most radios available on the market (Motorola, Hytera, ICOM, Kenwood etc).

The idea behind this 2-part cable is that if your business changes radios or if you use multiple different radios, or even if a worker breaks the radio lead, all we need to do is to swap/replace the radio lead rather than carrying out any modifications to the actual earplug unit itself.

This product is excellent for communication in noisy environments, as the noise reduction of an earplug (31SNR) coupled with the high-quality audio from internal speakers results in crystal clear audio, even in extremely noisy environments.

With this product, there is no longer any need to compromise between compliance and communication in the workplace. Stay protected and connected at all times.

This product is bespoke to each individual and manufactured using super soft medical grade silicone, meaning they are extremely comfortable and employees are more likely to wear them. This product is a lightweight alternative to over ear defenders such as Peltors.

Tested in accordance to CE EN 352-2:2002, 31 SNR.

This product is also available with hearing protection in both ears, but audio into one ear only (choice of right or left). Please get in touch for more information.

Dual Compound Silicone Earplug Construction

Unique to Ultimate and our Audio S range, these earplugs are constructed of two different compounds of silicone. The main construction of the plug is a grade of comfortable silicone for strength (40-shore) to contain the components and hold the cable securely within the earplug. The ear canal of the earplugs have an ultra-soft grade of silicone (25-shore) where comfort and flexibility is the absolute key to genuine sustained use.

Cable Design

Our standard polyurethane coated cable stops the cable reacting to sweat which causes it to go brittle. Kevlar coated strands makes it a lot stronger meaning it is less likely to break, using our four-point anchor system for positive connection and strength.

Supplied with a 2-part cable, the 1st part (connected to the earplugs) has a 3.5mm jack which then plugs into an extension radio lead with a PTT (Push To Talk) microphone. We can supply radio leads for most radios available on the market (Motorola, Hytera, ICOM, Kenwood etc).

Speaker Design

The AttenuatEar benefits from an incredible single balanced armature speaker chosen to offer a fantastic level of detailed sound. This combined with 31dB of hearing protection results in a clear, high quality sound, all at a low volume.
